The management team at Morphing Machines includes experienced technology research leaders and industry leaders with senior management experience at large technology-centric corporations and technology start-up companies.

Dr. Chandan Haldar, Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Chandan Haldar is an applied computer scientist with over 25 years of research and technology industry experience.  Chandan has held various technical and management lead positions at Siemens and Sun Microsystems, and country head positions for product engineering at Lucent Technologies and AOL.  He has been involved in several technology start-ups since 2005.  His technical interests lie in the areas of artificial intelligence, digital and embedded systems, distributed computing, and web applications.  A proponent of free and open-source software and functional programming technologies, Chandan has a variety of research interests and numerous research publications.

He is also Chief Scientist at Terra Incognitus Systems Research Alliance (TISRA), where he researches and builds breakthrough open software solutions and systems for the Indian market and other emerging markets.

Chandan received his BTech (Honors) and MTech degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur and his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science at Bangalore.  He is an alumnus of the Senior Executive Programme at the London Business School.

Dr. Ranjani Narayan, Chief Technology Officer

Prior to Morphing Machines, Dr. Ranjani Narayan has over 15 years of experience at the Indian Institute of Science and 9 years at Hewlett Packard.  She has vast work experience in a variety of fields - computer architecture, operating systems, and special purpose systems.  She has also worked at the Technical University of Delft, The Netherlands, and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA.  During her tenure at HP, she worked on various areas in operating systems and hardware monitoring and diagnostics systems.  She has numerous research publications.

Ranjani received her BE and PhD degrees from the Indian Institute of Science at Bangalore.
